Shortly after the 2.0 update, Crytek's Hunt: Showdown is about to get a new patch along with a bunch of additional features. The competitive action title which has been on Steam's Early Access for a while now, updates to 2.1 starting today, adding both new content and gameplay/balance tweaks.
Full notes can be found here, but the 1.8 GB patch means more weapons and game modes, with the Crossbow (several configurations) as the main course, as seen on the trailer below.
The full list of new weapons includes Crossbow, Hand Crossbow, Poisonhand Crossbow, Throwing Knives, a Specter with bayonet, a Sparks with silencer, a Winfield with silencer, and a Combat Axe. Players will also get the highly-requested "partner spectator mode" and, PUBG-style (or N64-style, depending on how you look at it), a mission type covered with dense fog.
10 players compete for the best bounty either alone or in pairs in Hunt: Showdown. The Early Access version is currently available for £25.99 ($30/€30). Have you given it a try yet?
