Immortals has revealed that it has stepped into the world of League of Legends: Wild Rift esports by signing a brand-new squad. The team will be led by content creator SeongHun "Hoon" Jang, but it has not yet been announced who else will be a part of the line-up.

When giving his thoughts on the announcement, Hoon said: "To have an organization like Immortals invest in my passion for Wild Rift and include me in their expansion to mobile esports is mind-blowing. Together, we will bring new and existing fans even more content to help make Wild Rift their passion, too."

Immortals now joins Cloud9 and TSM as being the third team within the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) to form a competitive Wild Rift squad. This shows that the title is only growing in popularity from a competitive perspective and we expect other major esports organisations to follow suit and form their own Wild Rift rosters in the future.
