We recently had the chance to interview Brian Goodman, one of the members of the team behind Injustice 2. He gave us lots of info on what we can expect from the upcoming sequel, and there is plenty to get excited about.

First, we found out that we may be seeing a branching storyline in the game. "Stucture-wise, it's going to be a little bit different," Goodman said. "There's going to be definitely an opportunity to go through the story mode, and we're definitely going to leave them wanting to go through it perhaps a second time."

Also interesting is the new modes we'll be seeing. On top of the story mode, we'll be seeing a few new single and multiplayer modes.

"We're going to have a number of single-player modes; we're really trying to round out our offerings for people who enjoy our games as single players. Of course, a whole suite of online modes as well, both competitive and potentially some co-operative modes as well."

The prospect of a co-operative multiplayer mode for Injustice 2 is exciting, and raises questions on how it could be done.

Injustice 2 is set to release in 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One, and Goodman told us that we may get our hands on it sooner than we know. You can check out our interview below. What do you think of a potential co-operative mode coming to Injustice?
