New World Interactive's Insurgency: Sandstorm will be released in September on PC, Focus Home Interactive today confirmed, at the same time as revealing that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the shooter have been delayed until the first half of 2019. The developer feels like they "need more time to polish the console experience."
The PC version launches with the following modes: Push, Firefight, Capture the Base (Versus) and Checkpoint (Coop). The Operation and Outpost modes will be added after the release because they also "need some more attention." Also, the developer promises to expand the game with new weapons, upgrades, maps and modding support after the launch.
