Nintendo 3DS launched in Japan this weekend, and it probably won't come as a big surprise that Eastern gamers threw themselves over it. According to Nintendo, 400 000 units have already been sold and many (if not most) stores ran out of it. Andriasang reports that a second wave should have hit stores right about now though, which means that Nintendo certainly is on track to reach their goal of 1,5 million shipped units in Japan before the end of March.
By which time the machine has reached our part of the world as well, moving towards the global goal of 3,5 million shipped units.
