Earlier this year we got the news that Mike Bithell was producing a game to bring Keanu Reeves' action hero John Wick to life, and after getting the initial reveal of John Wick Hex, a featurette has just been released to teach us Lessons in Gun-Fu.

Bithell has plenty of help when teaching this though, as 87Eleven Action Design Stunt Coordinator Jonathan Eusebio joins him to talk about what goes into developing the style of the game, as well as how the film's action has been translated into games. Considering Eusebio has worked on Jurassic World, Deadpool 2, and other projects, he's more than qualified to talk about what's going on here.

It's not just about how stunts are coordinated, but also the "tactics and mindset" of John Wick as well, as Eusebio explains in the video below. At the same time Bithell fills us in on the storytelling aspect of the game, and how this fits in with the action the stunts provide.

When we spoke to Bithell during E3 he told us that "we had to get the action right", and it seems that he's gone above and beyond to deliver the quality we expect to see from the films.

REVIEW. Written by Ben Lyons

"The combination of action and strategy make for gameplay both fast-paced and continuously enjoyable, all over an original campaign that really brings Wick to life."
