A lot has happened to veteran Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Finn "karrigan" Andersen over the last day. Yesterday started with an announcement post from Mousesports showing that after a couple of years with the organisation he would be heading elsewhere, and then to round out the day, FaZe Clan announced that he would be re-signing with them after a few years of not playing with the team.

Considering Karrigan is one of the most decorated CS:GO players of all time, it's no surprise that he didn't stay without a team for long, and considering Sunday also marked the day Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson left FaZe, seeing Karrigan back with the team is not a huge surprise.

With Intel Extreme Masters: Katowice 2021 set to begin in a few days, it will be interesting to see if Karrigan can adapt to this largely revamped FaZe team, a roster that now includes Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and Marcelo "coldzera" David.

Make sure to catch the action of IEM: Katowice 2021 right here, when it starts on February 16, at 11:00am GMT / 12:00pm CET.
