Killing Floor 2 has received a major update just in time for the spookiest season of the year, introducing two new weapons, a bunch of Halloween-branded items, as well as a new map. Furthermore we'll also see some well-known faces once again, with the return of King Fleshpound and other famous enemies. As stated by Tripwire, players on PC and PS4 can jump straight into the fresh content while Xbox One players still have to wait for the free update, coming on October 24.

Starting with the Nightmare map Holdout, players can explore a dungeon full of dangers while defending themselves against the Zeds (headphone use is recommended by the devs). There's also two new weapons, called Hemogoblin (a short range drill with a drain ability) and the Seeker Six, which is a fine rocket launcher that fires six missiles at once.

Tripwire has also unveiled a new premium currency, called Dosh Vault, rewarding players for completing the recently-introduced daily challenges, and as you collect these Dosh Vault's you reach certain milestones to receive free Vault Crates with cosmetic items in.

Take a look at all of these changes in the video below as well as some scary screenshots of Killing Floor 2's Halloween Horrors. Do you have plans to enter the horror show anytime soon?
