Kojima wants a Metal Gear Solid remake

According to an interview with Hideo Kojima in Famitsu, he would like to make a remake of the very first Metal Gear Solid. Kojima says it would be an open world title and he thinks a lot of people would like to play it. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the time to do it himself and no one else has stepped up. It would, of course, also take a lot of staff and resources.

The remake of Metal Gear Solid will probably remain a Hideo Kojima dream, but at least we're holding on to the slight glimmer of hope for this to come true. Would you like a Metal Gear Solid remake or should Kojima use his studio's time and resources elsewhere?
