Today Square Enix has unveiled a new video for Left Alive in which we can see new gameplay as game director Toshifumi Nabeshima provides commentary as we go, explaining the systems at work in the shooter that's due for release on March 5.

A big part of the combat is the fact that you have multiple options available to you, as there are various routes to take, and you can use traps to avoid direct conflict too. Of course there are a number of weapons at your disposal too, and you can use enemy weaponry against them as well.

If you're interested in the game you can pre-order the Mech Edition on the Square Enix store for £139.99 (€159.99) which includes the Survival Pack DLC, an 80-page artbook, an exclusive steelbook case, and a Volk action figure.

The game is coming to PC and PS4 and you can watch the trailer down below. Will you be getting this?

      REVIEW. Written by Roy Woodhouse

"This could have been special, but frustrating difficulty spikes, unintuitive level design, and inconsistent AI meant that we couldn't really connect to the story."
