We already suspected that Lego DC Super Villains was coming, courtesy of the infamous Walmart leak, but now it's official, as we know for sure that Warner Bros. and TT Games are joining forces once again for a new Lego game based on DC Comics, this time losing the "Lego Batman" title.
As the name implies, villains will be the main focus of the new game, featuring characters like the Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, Poison Ivy, and many others as the main protagonists, but one very special feature is that, unlike most Lego games based on a licence, players will be using their own created character in Story Mode; their own version of a DC villain.
The full plot seems to be revolving around the player's character, and it was written in collaboration between TT Games and DC. The press release even goes as far as claiming Lego DC Super Villains will be "the funniest LEGO game to date", although it has a lot of competition on that front.
Lego DC Super Villains will be releasing on October 19, on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One. Is this an interesting concept?
