Lego Fantastic Beasts updates ending to match film

Series Two of Lego Dimensions is available now, with the story pack for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them being among the content included (you can read our review here), but the ending has now been changed on this pack.

When the pack first launched the film hadn't been released, so didn't include a particular detail of the film's ending, which we won't spoil here, and now the patch updates the ending to match the film.

"The [...] reveal is a fun twist that was initially hidden in Lego Dimensions so as not to spoil Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them for fans," a Warner Bros. spokesperson revealed. "Soon after the film was released, the cut scene was switched in the game." Do you appreciate this choice, or would you have rather seen the full ending?
