Level-5 confirms The Snack World is heading west

The Snack World, the next cross-media project from RPG maker Level-5, will be coming to the West. It was announced shortly after the Level-5 Vision press event where we got to see a new CG trailer and our first look at the game.

The Snack World is a Chibi team action RPG with the colourful art style Level-5 is known for. But there are two main differences: the strong sense of humour and the introduction of NFC weapons. The game's real time combat systems is improved with the use of so called "Jaras", which are small plastic keychains tied to every character.

Level-5 announced that The Snack World is coming to Nintendo 3DS, Android and iOS in July 2017 in Japan, but didn't set a Western release date. Here's the new CG trailer and the first images:
