The London Spitfire has officially revealed that it has released Owen "Prov1de" Warner, following the Overwatch League player being caught up in a storm of accusations that allege him to have groomed a minor.

Following an internal investigation, the Spitfire released the following statement:

"We were recently made aware of a code of conduct violation involving one of our contracted players, Owen "Prov1de" Warner. We have mutually parted ways with Prov1de, effective immediately, following the results of an internal investigation.

We are actively seeking out a replacement support to complete our roster and we will share an update on this process with our fans as soon as we can.

Thank you for your patience as we looked into the matter and for holding us accountable."

While the Spitfire does have enough players for the opening day of the 2022 season, the team does lack a second support player at the moment.
