Konami teased Pro Evo fans in our interview at the weekend at the PES League 2019 World Finals as the company was readying the announcement of a new partner club coming from the Premier League. That news just became public and that team is none other than Manchester United FC, with the news revealed at Old Trafford.
The deal with the Red Devils applies to this year's upcoming eFootball PES 2020 and beyond, as it's a long term agreement. As such, not only will Man Utd have fully-licensed assets for the new game, including full body 3D-scanned players and a carefully-recreated stadium, but also Legends and the advice by young prospect Scott McTominay, who signs as eFootball PES 2020 Official Ambassador.
Konami promises the "most faithful recreation of Old Trafford ever seen in a video game" and talks about "a new decade" of football games starting with eFootball PES 2020, which releases September 10. On top of that, the July 30 demo will also include the Red Devils as one of its 14 teams. The developer and publisher also mentioned the new Matchday mode introduced at E3, which invites United's and other teams' supporters to join weekly online events linked to their team.
Gamereactor is once again on site in Manchester to bring PES fans the latest news and exclusive coverage on eFootball PES 2020.
