Recently, Nintendo announced their partnership with Universal Studios to create a Super Nintendo World area in Universal Studios Japan. Today they've confirmed there will be a "highly advanced" Mario Kart attraction through a cheesy but entertaining video.
Shigeru Miyamoto took to the stage to explain that their goal for the park is so guests "enter a world of excitement where they will feel as if they are playing inside Nintendo video games." The Super Nintendo World aspect will eventually make its way to Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood, but for now, only the Japan location is underway.
Yesterday, Nintendo also released a trailer featuring Mario exploring a CGI park, check it out here. Would you visit a theme park specifically for a Nintendo themed area? Let us know in the comments.
