Mario & Luigi developer AlphaDream files for bankruptcy

As reported by Yahoo Japan, and brought to us in English by Japanese Nintendo, developer AlphaDream Corporation Ltd. has filed for bankruptcy, having been responsible for Bowser's Inside Story and Bowser Jr.'s Journey for Nintendo 3DS in the past.

They entered these proceedings with the Tokyo District Court on Tuesday, and the same report claims debts were as high as 465 million yen (around $4.3 million USD) as of March 2018.

Fans enjoyed the games they worked on, and the collection of the games above only released this year for the 3DS. Other games include Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Crime.
