We haven't exactly seen many patches and expansions in Mario games through the years, but then again we haven't seen Ubisoft developing a game with the plumber and his friends either, so that's why this new announcement kind of makes sense, as Ubisoft Milan has revealed that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will have a season pass. This includes two upcoming expansions, and even eight steampunk weapons on launch day, August 29.
The first expansion is expected to launch later this autumn, and will include new solo and co-op maps, however, what sounds like the most noteworthy expansion will be released next year, and will give us more story. That's everything both Nintendo and Ubisoft want to say at the moment, and we don't have any more information about the weapons, maps, or story expansion. Are you still going to buy the season pass though?
