Martha is Dead is an interesting game being developed by Italian studio LKA, who made The Town of Light as well, and at Gamescom we caught up with creative director Luca Dalco to hear about th title in more detail.
"It's a psychological thriller set in the '40s of the last century, during the World War Two," he explained via a translator. "The main person is a young female child with psychological disorders, and she's now facing the violence occurring during the World War."
"The game is based on interaction with different objects. It's a linear story, and so you have evolution with interacting with different objects."
"Here we have very beautiful and nice landscapes, but of course we have also some dark parts in the Tuscany area, so also a lot of not so nice stories hiding behind the very beautiful landscape."
Does this sound intriguing?
