Meet the man who spent $30,000 on Star Citizen

Star Citizen fan Ozy311 really, really likes producer Chris Roberts and his upcoming space-based epic. In a bizarre (and bizarrely entertaining) interview with PC Gamer US, he describes how Chris Roberts is the third most influential person in his entire life and says that he has already spent $30,000 on the game, and he reckons he's going to spend even more since he's now got an extra job just so he can continue to pour money into the project.

When asked by the site what that amount of money buys you, and whether he remembers everything he currently owns, Ozy311 said: "Yes, I literally have everything and even then, multiple of everything, many times. [Laughs] I have the highest package in the game, which is called 'The Completionist with the Million Mile High Club,' which is a base package that's $15,000.

"It didn't start out that way, though. When I started getting into the game years ago, it was this and that, and this and that. And then after I started to see the product mature, I was convinced it was what I also dreamed of, and was hooked. I went in deep."
