"Merits" program announced for Homefront: The Revolution

Deep Silver announced today a reward program, called "Merits", for Homefront: The Revolution, which rewards members of Homefront's community. All those who are registered on the Homefront-Game.com site will be able to login to the website and earn "merits" by simply completing some simple actions.

In fact, for every "merit" earned, the player will have access to a piece of the corresponding Combat Gear from the Red Rebel set, which can be used to customise your character in the co-op mode, Resistance.

To unlock the rewards in-game, members of the community will have to link their Homefront profile to their Xbox LIVE, PSN or Steam account when the launch of the game is approaching, currently scheduled for next month. At the moment, there are only seven "merits", but Deep Silver promised more will be added in coming weeks.

In addition, the new 'Hearts and Minds 101' featurette showcases how players can perform actions in the game's open world, and earn the support of the oppressed population of occupied Philadelphia through unique gameplay mechanics. You can watch the trailer below for more details:
