Metal Gear Survive was unveiled at Gamescom to the tune of angry fans, and this anger towards the project does not seem to have worn off after gameplay was shown recently at Tokyo Game Show. In fact, many fans claimed that they'd seen the area used in the demo.
Now, Youtube user rensehin has made a comparison video, showing how the entire level is lifted almost directly from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Reusing assets happens frequently, but rarely at this scale, and especially not when Metal Gear Survive has attempted to distance itself by making it clear that it takes place in another dimension.
It looks as if Konami is cutting corners to chase a release date of 2017. Below you can see the 15 minute demo.
