They join Renegades and FaZe Clan in an event that's already shaping up quite nicely three months ahead of time.

The all-Brazilian roster of MIBR was announced as the third invited team to the Intel Extreme Masters event Sydney via a Twitter post yesterday. The roster has been a top tier team in CS:GO for several years, even when playing for SK Gaming, and they're also comfortable playing down under as they are the inaugural champions of IEM Sydney back in 2017.

So far only two other teams have been invited to the tournament. One of the teams is last year's champions FaZe Clan, a roster that has since seen a few changes. The other is Renegades, a largely Australian roster who recently won the Asian Minor - IEM Katowice 2019.

IEM Sydney itself will consist of three days of competition between the May 3 and 5, where 16 teams will compete for a $250,000 USD prize pool at the Qudos arena. Tickets are currently available for the event and can be purchased at the IEM Sydney site.
