Might Spider-Man actually make it to PS4 in Q1/Q2 2018?

Layden says all E3 games tagged as 2018 are "coming in the first half of the year".

Even if there won't be many top-tier first-party PS4 releases in 2017 during Q3 and Q4 (as noted by some people during last week's E3), and keeping in mind that the second half of the year is already packed with exciting third-party offerings, it looks like the first half of 2018 will quickly balance out that situation, in a way being similar to this year's Q1/Q2 in terms of exclusive PlayStation games.

PS followers already knew about God of War releasing early 2018, but it looks like other E3-highlighted exclusives could actually make it to the console in less than a year's time.

After recalling that Gran Turismo Sport is actually launching this autumn, Sony's Shawn Layden, president of SCEA and the man who hosted the company's E3 press conference, underlined that "the stuff coming in 2018, all of that is coming in the first half of the year", as reported by The Telegraph. It's not 100% set in stone, though, as Layden concludes by asking and answering his own question: "is it in the next 12 to 13 months? Most likely".

If accurate, this would mean not only God of War, but also Shadow of the Colossus is releasing between January and June and, more importantly, Spider-Man, which was perhaps Sony's game of the show.

"The Heist is not a particularly impressive or memorable expansion, but it's fun and it comes with some interesting moments."
