We're getting ever closer to the start of the 2022 Six Invitational, and with that in mind, Ubisoft has been hosting a variety of regional closed qualifiers to determine the final few teams that will be travelling to Sweden to compete in the premier event.
This past weekend was Europe's turn, with the closed qualifier seeing Team Vitality, Team Secret, Cowana Gaming, and MNM Gaming all competing for a single slot in the Invitational. After a two-day long, double-elimination bracket format, which delivered six games, we now know the victor, with it being MNM Gaming.
This was quite the impressive feat for the roster, as it lost its first match against Cowana Gaming, and instantly fell into the lower bracket, where MNM had its work cut out for it, as it had to had to go through Vitality and Secret to get another shot at Cowana in the grand finals. After managing to achieve all of this, MNM even clutched up against Cowana, defeating the organisation 3-2 to land the elusive final Invitational spot.
As for when the Six Invitational will take place, the event is planned to start on February 8, and will run until February 20.
