The episodic free-to-play RPG Mobius Final Fantasy finally made its way to iOS and Android last August, but some of you might have chosen to wait for the PC release. Well, you won't have to wait much longer.
Square Enix has announced that the game will launch on Steam on February 6. This version will also be free-to-play, but includes some nice visual upgrades as it'll now run in 1080p (they also mention 4K, but makes it sound like it's upscaled assets) and 30-60 fps.
Mobius was made by quite a few talented developers, including Yoshinore Kitase and Kazushige Nojima. Not familiar with those names? Both of them are known for their work on Final Fantasy VII, and are now working on Final Fantasy VII: Remake. This turns out to be quite good for us, as the PC version of Mobius includes 3D resources from Remake. That means we'll get a peek at how Cloud, the Mako Reactor, and more will look in FFVII: Remake when playing Mobius.
You can see how Mobius Final Fantasy will look in the trailer and screenshots below. Are visuals important to you regarding the FFVII remake, or are you just excited to jump into the excellent gameplay again?
