Back in 2010 Obisidian Entertainment released Fallout: New Vegas, and for many it still has a special place in their hearts, so much so that now a group of modders have decided to bring the game to the modern era by reproducing the Mojave wasteland in Fallout 4's engine.

This group have now published a first pre-alpha video about Fallout: New Vegas working on Fallout 4's engine, and you can see how it looks on YouTube, with the project's blog also being available here.

So far they have been focusing on the area of Goodsprings in particular, and although the project is far from finished (and won't be for a while, since it's a pretty big game), we're rather impressed by what we've seen.

Is Fallout: New Vegas your favourite in the series?
