While one particular Minecraft player recently suffered heartbreak when his world record five-year Hardcore run came to an end recently, Mojang has good news to cheer us up, as they've revealed that they've donated $100,000 USD to Charity Water, which aims to deliver clean water to those who need it.

A few days ago the developer took to their website to explain that they already made a $10,000 donation to the charity, urging fans to download a new map and skin pack for free. This is called The Travelling Trader, which is a result of a partnership with Jigarbov Productions, and is available right now for Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and Xbox One.

Mojang said if it was downloaded 100,000 times they'd donate a further $90,000 to the cause, which happened in less than a day. If you haven't got the pack yourself though, you can watch the trailer down below before you do so.

Have you got the pack?
