Mojang wants to add your cute cat to Minecraft

Mojang is about to add cats to Minecraft. Why? Well, frankly everything is better with cats. Just look at the Internet for proof. Approximately half of it would disappear if you removed cats from the equation. Therefore, the studio has now made a whole lot of cat skins, but they are going to add one more, and that's where your four-pawed feline comes in.

On their homepage, they write that all you have to do is to take a "photo or video of the cat you think deserves to be in Minecraft, then share it on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #Minecraftcatcontest" before November 12. On November 16, three lucky cats (or rather cat owners) will be picked out of all the entries and then the community will vote on which one is to become immortalised as an official video game cat - and finally, on November 19, the winner will be revealed.

The winning four-legged friend is going to be introduced into the game with the Village and Pillage update sometime next year.
