We've heard it many times before, indie game sales numbers are incredible on Nintendo Switch. Just recently, Ron Gilbert revealed (something we reported about) that Thimbleweed Park did not only beat the other console sales wise on Switch - but also performed better than Steam. And that is outright remarkable considering that it was released first for PC and Xbox One, with PlayStation 4 having a huge userbase.

Now FDG Entertainment has a similar story to tell regarding Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. It's not only selling better on the Switch than on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One - but rather a total annihilation. This is what they wrote on Twitter:

"Nintendo Switch continues to amaze us. Not only does it bring so much joy with its original games, it's also the most profitable console business ever for us. It's another universe in regards of sales numbers. #MonsterBoyGame ratio is 8:1 #NintendoSwitch vs everything else."

Regardless of format, we encourage anyone who likes great games to play Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. To read exactly why you shouldn't miss this one out, head over to our review.
