Monster Hunter 4 ships 3 million in Japan

Capcom's Monster Hunter series reaches 26 million in total sales.

Capcom have revealed that the latest edition of the highly successful Monster Hunter series - Monster Hunter 4 on Nintendo 3DS - has shipped more than 3 million copies to date making it the best selling third party software on Nintendo 3DS in Japan.

Monster Hunter 4 was released on September 14 in Japan and currently there's no word on when we can expect to see the game in Europe.
