Monster Hunter XX was announced for Nintendo 3DS last fall, but we already knew that the game will launch on Nintendo Switch this summer in Japan, while the western release hasn't been confirmed yet.
With the launch on the hybrid console, many players also expected a graphical upgrade, but it turns out that this is not the case. In fact, the Nintendo Switch version will only run at 30 FPS. The game, which has been shown in a playable version at Monster Hunter Summit in Tokyo recently, has been tested by some experts who have confirmed that this edition will not have any major enhancements in frame-rate compared to the 3DS version.
Monster Hunter XX for Switch is expected in Japan on August 25th, while we are still waiting hoping for confirmation on a western release in the near future, although we'll have to wait considerably longer.
Will you pick up Monster Hunter XX on the Switch regardless? Let us kno what you think in the comments.
