Ubisoft had been quoted as saying that there would not be a new Assassin's Creed game in 2011, but now it seems we are on track for the continuation of the series next year. Is it Assassin's Creed III or a further continuation of Ezio's struggles in Renaissance Italy? This teaser picture below, has previously been released for a future Assassin's Creed project and perhaps it's a hint about what's to come.

Ubisoft really had to rally their resources in order to complete Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood within a year and it has been said that 500 people have worked on the game. Perhaps they decided it was worth a similar undertaking to complete the next game in time for the holidays 2011?
