More generous loot drops are coming to The Division

The 1.2 update for Ubisoft's The Division is set to bring in a few much-needed changes to certain parts of the game, with a new Dark Zone Bracket and better loot drops all around.

Loot drops were intended to be the number 1 source of equipment in the game, but due to the low number of good drops there was more of a focus on crafting items instead. This update will lower the rate of gear mod drops, and increase the rate of weapon drops, also making it more likely for you to get better weapons. Hard mode, Challenges, Incursions, and Dark Zone Brackets will also drop better loot.

There have also been measures put into place to help better identify chat spammers, a system that has immediately been put into place - hopefully you've already seen some improved results. The launch date for The Division 1.2 is yet to be announced, but we can expect more details to come in the next weeks.
