A new E3 schedule trailer from the Xbox team has leaked online ahead of its official unveiling, something that had already been teased by a Reddit user who claimed to have caught even more tidbits regarding Microsoft's E3 plans (by data-mining and looking at supposedly hidden codes).

According to the leak, Microsoft is readying the announcement of the often rumoured new Battletoads game for Xbox One (and perhaps PC). Although this source states Rare will lead its development, it could also be a different studio taking care of Rare's creation. According to this source, Rare is working on making Sea of Thieves an online multiplayer experience along the lines of The Division or Destiny.

There's also some chatter regarding Killer Instinct, and the supposed leak also states that General RAAM from Gears of War will be joining the fighter soon (as previously rumoured).

Another old rumour repeated by this new source says Forza Horizon 3 will be set in Australia. Microsoft already announced they'll be showing "a new Forza Motorsport game" at E3 2016 with the Lamborghini Centenario as cover star, and even if that wording adds some confusion (Motorsport is the suffix for the Turn 10 series), the expectation is we'll see the third entry on the open-world racer series by Playground Games.

Other announcements teased by the source include "something Age of Empires" related (possibly a new game in the series, although we're not sure who'd make it with creators Ensemble Studios long disbanded), and a new exclusive Zombie game published by Microsoft. Regarding the latter, the source speculates both State of Decay and even Dead Rising could be involved (and with the last Dead Rising being an Xbox One launch title, another exclusivity deal isn't a huge leap).

Finally, the already announced Anniversary Update for the Xbox One system may launch for preview purposes during E3, in parallel to its unveiling.

On top of all those rumours (many of which we've already heard before), and as we reported yesterday, there's speculation mounting that Microsoft are about to reveal Xbox One VR plans in LA.

With the platform holder hosting its Xbox E3 Press briefing on Monday, June 13, it's now just a matter of days before we know how reliable this leak is, and what else the Xbox team has in store.
