NAKAT and VoiD are the Evo 2022 MultiVersus champions

Despite MultiVersus not actually having launched yet (the game is still in beta), Warner Bros. and Player First Games made sure to have a presence at the fighting tournament event, Evo 2022, by hosting the first ever MultiVersus competition.

Now that Evo 2022 is in the books, we can now report on who has been crowned champions at this inaugural event, and those two individuals are none other than "NAKAT" and "VoiD". The duo rose to success with a dominant showing of how Tom & Jerry and Wonder Woman could combo, and after all was said and done, the duo left the tournament and event with $10,000 in prize money, and also as the title of first MultiVersus champions.

Now that Evo has concluded, there is no mention as to what's next for competitive MultiVersus, but considering the success that the fighting game has already had, it probably won't be too long until something else rolls around.
