There's a sparsely detailed rumour circulating that Neversoft are currently working on a new Call of Duty title for Activision.

The report from website Se7ensins revealed an inside source that recently visited Neversoft's studio, discovering the following whilst they were there: "It's another MW game. There's something called, ‘Drone Survaillance'. They're working on ‘HALO' jumps (High Altitude; Low X.) There is a level under ice. There is cloaking tech. Somethin called a ‘Dominator UAV'."

Sadly there's nothing more to report, just the above information, itself garnered from viewing concept art and drawings hanging in Neversoft's office. Make of that what you will.

However, at the end of last year, Neversoft were advertising for staff to work on an upcoming triple-A first-person shooter. It's also worth noting that visiting the studio's website reveals a big, shiny Call of Duty logo.

Just how involved they are in the overall development of the next Modern Warfare title remains to be seen, but it looks likely that Neversoft are involved in some capacity. More details when we have them.
