Ubisoft has ambitious post-launch plans for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, not just through the paid DLC that will begin with the first chapter of Legacy of the First Blade in December. Today they have release patch 1.07 that adds new free content, and several quality of life-improvements.

The biggest change is that the level cap has been raised from 50 to 70 with the new update, all experience you've amassed beyond level 50 will count towards the new cap. There's also a new visual customisation system that let's you "transmog" equipment so you can look they way you want while retaining certain bonuses and stats. For more on this new system you can read up on the official website. The photo mode has been improved and there is now more info on the Mercenary Benefits page. Furthermore, you've now got to option to toggle Drachmae and XP boosts on and off if you've purchased one of them (unnecessary in our opinion). Additionally, a bunch of fixes have been applied, most notably in quests.

On top of that there's a new questline in the Lost Tales of Greece series. It's called A Divine Intervention and the first quest can be found in Korinth.
