Final Fantasy XV users today noticed that there's a new update for the game, specifically the 1.03 patch, which weighs in at 3.2 GB on PS4. The update focuses on three main points:

• Various Bug Fixes
• New mode: New Game+ (carry over certain data from a previous playthrough)
• Additional Bonus Content

Although the several fixes and the added content aren't that noticeable (there's no fix to some frame-rate issues on PS4 Pro and there's none of the promised new meat added to the story as of yet), gamers who already saw the credits roll once are reporting on how the new game plus works.

If you start a new game, you do so with the character level you had, and not from scratch. Enemies are supposedly adapted to your current level, for example level 56, but in some cases so far it seems like a walk in the park. You also keep skills, costumes, items, weapons and such, even if the latter will lose the upgrades.

Are you playing new game plus? And are you looking forward to Christmas content?

REVIEW. Written by Jonas Mäki

"It feels like the series should feel, but adapted for a modern audience, and we're so glad that Tabata pulled this massive project together in the way that he did."
