A few weeks ago, while we were playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for our final hands-on article, Gamereactor found out that there was a new mini-boost in the Nintendo Switch version of the game, as the pink one lasts longer than the older blue and orange boosts.

Nintendo of America has just released a new video of the game comparing all of the above, revealing that the regular "Mini Turbo" lasts 0.621 seconds; the "Super Mini Turbo" boosts the kart / bike for 1.674 seconds; and the new "Ultra Mini Turbo" keeps working for 2.633 seconds. If you want to compete, then, you'd better start practicing your corners.

Does the new boost add anything significant to the game?
