New mode shown off in NHL 18 trailer

Some say that hockey is the best sport for video games. The speed and entertainment have been there since the arcade days, so it's not exactly weird that one of the new modes in NHL 18 really takes some inspiration from the classics.

We've now received a new trailer for NHL 18 that shows off the new "NHL Threes" mode. This is definitely inspired by the classics, as we play three versus three and a number of points we get per goal depends on how stylish we score it.

Another interesting thing that many of you might appreciate is that it's possible to play as the different teams' mascots. Ever dreamt of giving one of the iconic figures a real beating? Now's your chance. The mode can also be played with five other people, so it's possible to once and for all settle the argument as to which player and mascot are the best.
