New patch adds touch controls to Pikmin 3

One of the weirdest things with Pikmin 3 was the fact that it didn't support touch controls, despite being an RTS that really would have benefited from it. That never stopped it from being really good fun, but thanks to a new patch, that has now been fixed and a great game has become even better.

Thanks to this new patch, it is now possible to tap on the tablet to move your Pikmins around the maps, switch between characters and navigate around the environment. It also adds a few short cuts with virtual buttons for switching characters and navigating menues.
