New raid wing opens up in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

It's time to take out a Sloth.

A new raid wing for the Guild Wars 2 expansion, Heart of Thorns, has today been activated. Players can expect to go deeper into the Maguuma jungle and do battle with a new raid boss.

Named Slothasor, the new boss is described as a true sleeping giant who may not seems so bad whilst sleeping, but should you wake him up you will be in for a challenge. Playing through the new content will uncover more of the strange magical energy that is running amok in the jungle.

This update also brings new rewards through playing. Winning battles at the Salvation pass will grant players ascended weapons, new weapon skins, a mini Slothasor, and more.

The new update is available to play now if you own Guild Wars 2: Heart of the Thorns.
