New rare breed of monsters in Dragon Quest XI

Mere days before its Japanese release, Famitsu (via Siliconera) informed us that a new type of monsters will appear in Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time. The "Reincarnated Monsters" are creatures that, thanks to their long life, have evolved into another form: terrifying, super cute as well as extra rare. Obviously, these monsters will be very rare and difficult to flush out, so expect great rewards linked to these beasts.

As a reminder, Dragon Quest XI releases in Japan tomorrow on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS, but it will probably be a while until it sees release on these shores.
