New Square Enix studio is led by Hajime Tabata

Square Enix has just announced that they are establishing a new development studio in Tokyo called Luminous Productions, and this will be staffed by members of the creative team behind Final Fantasy XV, all of which will be led by the legendary Hajime Tabata.

The studio will continue to build on "Square Enix Group's vision to create new intellectual properties alongside our existing studios," and the purpose of the new studio is "developing new AAA titles and bringing innovative game and other entertainment content to a global audience."
