The New York Excelsior Overwatch League team has announced who it plans on fielding in the support line for the 2021 season. We had already reported on the re-signing of Seonghyun "JJoNak" Bang, but now, the team has revealed his support partner Jo "Friday" Min-jae.

JJoNak needs no introduction, as he has been a formidable support player since he started in the Inaugural Season. Friday on the other hand might be a less well known name, as he is coming up from Contenders Korea, where he previously played for OZ Gaming, seeing variable success.

NYXL is still very much in the need of players for its active roster. Since the season is edging ever closer, we can assume that more announcements will start pouring out from the franchise, as right now, they only have four players on the team, none of whom play in the DPS position.
