While still recording a loss for the quarter EA saw revenues grow in their third quarter on the back of strong sales for FIFA 12, Madden NFL 12, Battlefield 3, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. The latter now has 1.7 million subscribers with 2 million copies shifted so far.

As part of their business realignment to focus on core games, THQ had laid off 240 people and CEO Brian Farrell takes a pay cut of 50 percent for one year.

Ubisoft have confirmed a 33 song strong tracklist for Lumines: Electronic Symphony that includes the likes of Pet Shop Boys, Air, Orbital, Benny Benassi and The Chemical Brothers.
