NHL 14 gets NHL 94 anniversary mode

20 years since the most celebrated installation in the series.

NHL 94 is legend. It's as simple as that. And EA are looking to cash in on that legend status with NHL 14 as it will contain "NHL 94 - anniversary mode". It's actually the second time EA Sports includes NHL 94 as part of one of their later games (NHL 06 on PS2 included a port of the Genesis version of NHL 94). Oh well, enjoy the trailer.

While the NHL series may struggle to move the needle when it releases in September each year in the UK, but in Finland it always finds itself on top of the annual sales charts.
