NHL 16 beta announced for PS4 and Xbox One

Available to those who own NHL 15.

Today we can deliver good news to all of you out there who appreciate digital ice hockey. EA has just announced they will run an open beta of NHL 16, starting next Thursday and running for a week.

For those who own NHL 15 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, the beta will appear in the game's menus. Those who have bought the game for PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 will also be able to try out the beta (see how on EA's website), but they'll need to upgrade to a newer console of course.

NHL 16 is releasing on both PS4 and Xbox One on September 17, but you'll be able to get some practice time in next week should you wish.
