Bandai Namco and Level-5 have revealed a brand new DLC package coming to Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom (as brought to us in English by Gematsu) which translates to 'The Wizard's Companion', even though we don't have an official English title yet.

If you've been scratching your head wondering how the leaders of the main game were corrupted by what's called the 'taintedness', then you'll be able to find the answers in this DLC. Two new Martial Methods (introduced in The Lair of the Lost Lord) are coming as a part of this, as well as deeper looks at character backstories and a new arena by the name of Pandora Night.

Evan has heard rumours of a mysterious rabbit you can meet in your dreams if you head on over to the Dreaming Chamomile Inn at Goldpaw, and here we get to meet the Conductor. You might recognise him from the first game too. New character episodes also give more narrative details on those such as Aranella and Nerea, and the Pandora Night arena lets you take on consecutive battles for an extra challenge, with rewards based on your time.

The price in Japanese yen in 1,500, which equates to around £10. The Lair of the Lost Lord DLC costs £7.99 (€9.99, or $9.99 USD), so this sounds like it'll be around a similar price point. This new DLC will launch on March 19, and the good news is that you don't have to have played The Lair of the Lost Lord to play this, as you'll only need to have played up to Chapter Five in the base game.

As if that wasn't enough for Ni no Kuni fans to be excited about, we also recently reported on the news that a Ni no Kuni film will be released this summer in Japan.
